A video of a 19-year-old teen boy from Noida sprinting on the road at midnight is going viral with millions of views on social media. Known as Pradeep Mehra, the boy caught the attention of filmmaker Vinod Kapri when he was driving past the boy running on the sidewalk. Kapri offered him a lift to his destination but he politely refused despite being soaked in sweat. 

Pradeep runs 10 km every night as he wants to join the Indian Army 

In the video, Kapri repeatedly offers the teen, Pradeep Mehra, a ride home. However, the boy politely declined his offer every time he was asked for it. When Kapri asked him the reason to rush, the boy replied, "I usually run on my way home." On being asked about what he does, he revealed that he works at McDonald's in Sector 16, and runs 10 kilometres to reach Barola, where he resides with his elder brother. 

Pradeep also shared that he is from Uttarakhand and he wants too join the Indian Army. He can't run in the morning since he needs to leave for work early after cooking so he runs at night after completing his shift. 

Video goes Viral 

While sharing the video, Kapri wrote in Hindi, "This is PURE GOLD. I spotted this youngster sprinting really rapidly with a bag on his shoulder last night around 12 o'clock on the Noida road. I figured if he was in any kind of danger, I should give him a ride. He was often given a lift, but he refused. If you listen to the explanation, you will fall in love with this youngster."
