The Noida Authority has taken a strict stand on the incidents of increasing pet attacks in Noida societies.

The Noida Authority has taken a strict stand on the incidents of increasing pet attacks in Noida societies. If you have lived in Noida and you have a dog, then you should be alert because if you do even a little carelessness then you may find it costly to have a dog. Cases of being bitten by pets and stray animals are continuously coming to the fore in Noida.
The Noida Authority has also decided regarding the owners of pets. If any untoward incident occurs due to the pet, then from March 1, 2023, a fine of Rs 10,000 will be imposed on the owner of the animal and the treatment of the injured person.
The authority said that it is now necessary to get the registration of pets, dogs and cats. For this, time has been fixed till 31 January 2023. If pet owners do not register their animals on the Noida Authority Pet Registration App, the owners will be fined.
Apart from this, the authority has also made sterilization and anti-rabies vaccination of pet dogs mandatory. Those who will not get vaccinated will be fined ₹ 2000 per month from March 1, 2023 onwards.
Terror of stray dogs and other animals is being seen in RWAs and societies. Regarding this, the Noida Authority, after meeting with the RWA and the residents of the village, has decided that the RWA, AOA and the people of the village will give land to the authority,
On top of which shelters will be built for stray dogs and cats. In these, sick and aggressive dogs and cats will be monitored. Maintenance of these centres will be done by RWA and AOA. There is always tension between the residents of the societies and the dog feeders.
In such a situation, the authority has taken a middle way and given instructions that a place outside all RWAs and societies will be made a feeding place on the outdoor area. It will also be mandatory to put up an information board at this feeding site. Feeder RWA and AOA will be responsible for providing food and drink to dogs.
