Due to landslides in Nepal, at least 14 people are killed and injured 7 people in Western Nepal, as per the officials.

On Saturday, heavy rains in Kathmandu, Nepal triggered a landslide after which at least 14 people are killed and injured 7 people in Western Nepal, as per the officials. As reported by Reuters, the rescue workers said that they are looking for further 10 people who are missing. 

As per a police spokesperson, "rescue workers had pulled the dead and injured from the silt-covered wreckage of five houses buried under mud in Achham district, about 450 km (281 miles) west of the capital city of Kathmandu", said Dan Bahadur Karki, quoted as saying by Reuters. 

The injured are taken to the hospital 

Nearby media film showed heroes clearing slush with their hands in a frantic quest for the missing individuals who were accepted caught. Authorities said the harmed had been raced to a close by medical clinic.

Streak floods and avalanches happen habitually in the rocky territory of Nepal, particularly during yearly storm downpours between June and September.
