On Friday, late evening, the Mumbai police received a call from an unidentified person who threatened to blow up Dadar, Byculla, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway stations and actor Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow in Juhu.

As per the police officials, the Mumbai police’s main control room received the call at around 9 pm on Friday. Local police stations, Anti-Terrorism Squad, government railway police and bomb detection and disposal squad were intimated, and the search was carried out at the four locations.

Senior police inspector Shashikant Mane of Juhu police station said, "We also checked all the four bungalows of Amitabh Bachchan from outside to understand if there was any mischief." 

After getting the call, the Government Railway Police, Railway Protection Force along with the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, dog squads and local police personnel rushed to these locations and carried out a search operation", he added. Further, he said, “Nothing suspicious has been found so far at these places, but heavy police deployment has been put in place."
