Argentina football team has just arrived back home from Qatar along with the world-cup trophy which they have won after 36 years, this is their 3rd FIFA world-cup trophy and to celebrate this win the people of Argentina gave their heroes a warm welcome with fans flooding the streets of Buenos Aires in order to get a glimpse of the players and the trophy.

After returning back on 18th of December the players boarded an open top bus but in the middle of the night the joyous welcome would have turned into a disaster as players, Lionel Messi, Rodrigo de Paul, Leandro Paredes, Angel di Maria and Nicolas Otamendi have a narrow escape from low hanging cables.

The players were sitting on the open top bus with Messi holding the trophy, when they were almost hit by the cables, all five had to duck their heads in order to save themselves but Paredes was the nearest though he did not have any accident with the overhead cables but hit cap was knocked off from his head.

Despite this incident the bus went smoothly towards the Argentine Football Association (AFA) training centre where Messi posed with the trophy on his bed.

The celebrations are continuing on the streets of Buenos Aires, and huge number of supporters have surrounded the Obelisk monument along with them the players have also joined the celebrations and parades. The government has declared the day a national holiday to celebrate the win. It is indeed a proud moment for the country and fans are celebrating it gloriously.
