India's First Stand-up Comedian Raju Srivastava Passes Away At 58
Srivastava had been hospitalized since August 10 after he announced chest torment and imploded while working out. He was under treatment for over a month.

On Wednesday, India's first stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava left for his heavenly abode at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. It is after 41 days that he had been admitted to the hospital after he complained of chest pain after running on a treadmill at the gym. Srivastava had been hospitalized since August 10 after he announced chest torment and imploded while working out. He was under treatment for over a month, news office ANI detailed.
The news of his demise has been confirmed by his nephew Kushal Srivastava. He said, "Yes, it is true. He passed away half an hour back. We all are at AIIMS. His entire family is here. We haven't decided on the last rites yet," quoted as saying by ETimes.
Srivastava's wellbeing decayed on September 1 when he revealed a fever of north of 100 degrees and was placed on ventilator support for the subsequent time. The jokester was first placed on a ventilator on August 10 and had acquired cognizance on August 25 in the wake of expenditure very nearly 15 days in the ventilator.

As the news of Raju Srivastava's death came out, people flooded social media with their condolences. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared a tweet in Hindi. He wrote, "I am deeply saddened by the passing away of renowned comedian, Raju Srivastava ji. Apart from being an accomplished artist, he was also a very lively person. He was also very active in the social field. I extend my condolences to his bereaved family and fans. Om Shanti!"

Raju Srivastava's professional achievements
Raju shot to popularity in 2005 in the wake of partaking in the primary time of the stand-up parody show 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.' He had additionally highlighted in films like 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya' and 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon' among others. He was also chairing the Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.
