In Guwahati, at Radisson Blu Hotel, around 70 rooms are booked for Shiv Sena MLAs amid the political crisis situation against Uddhav Thackeray's government. Eknath Shinde is staying in Guwahati along with 70 other MLAs as they are demanding the Shiv Sena break its alliance with the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party. 

It has been said by the rebel that Shiv Sena should have tied with BJP to create a new government. The hotel is booked for a week as MLAs are prepared for the long haul.

Overall Cost of Stay 

As per news agency IANS, 70 rooms in the luxury hotel have been booked for Rs 56 lakh. The hotel offers a facility of extensive event space, a spa, a pool, and five restaurants. The food and other services are estimated to cost Rs 8 lakh per day which is Rs 56 lakh for seven days, making the entire cost of the stay Rs 1.12 crore. 

Meanwhile, Sena's leader Sanjay Raut said,” We won’t relent…we’ll win on the floor of the house (State Assembly). If this battle is fought on roads, we’ll win that too. We gave the opportunity to those who left, but now it’s too late. I challenge them to come on the floor of the house. MVA govt will complete rest of 2.5 yrs.”

"Our worries and happiness are the same", said Shinde 

In a video, while addressing a group of rebel Shiv Sena MLAs at the Radisson Blu, Shinde said, "Our worries and happiness are the same. We are united and victory will be ours. There is a national party, a maha shakti...you know they vanquished Pakistan. That party has said that we have taken a historic decision and assured to provide all help."
