On October 16, Google Doodle issued a graphic encouraging people to get vaccinated and wear a mask in order to save lives. In today's animated Google Doodle, all of the letters are wearing masks and rejoicing after receiving the Covid-19 vaccination.

“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, help stop the spread by finding a local vaccine site and following these steps for prevention,” the Google Doodle page warns.

The doodle is linked to Google search results for the most recent information on the spread of the coronavirus and how to locate a local vaccination center.

In the previous 24 hours, India has documented 16,862 new Covid-19 cases (October 15). According to figures issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the country's entire caseload has risen to 3,40,37,592.

Kerala has the highest number of Covid-19 instances in India, with 9,246 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 2,384 cases, Tamil Nadu with 1,259 cases, Mizoram with 901 cases, and Andhra Pradesh with 540.
