External Affairs Minister Jaishankar Visits Singapore
External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is on his three day visit to Singapore.

On Thursday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has visited Singapore on an official three-day visit. During the visit he will talk to Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and a series of meetings will be conducted with other senior ministers, the Indian High Commission said. Earlier in the morning, Dr Jaishankar has met Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Singapore's Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies and discussed about the international economic situation.
“Glad to meet @Tharman_s, Singapore Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies. Good discussion on the international economic situation," Jaishankar tweeted. “Had a constructive discussion on global and regional economic priorities and the deeper collaborations we must build," wrote Tharman in a Facebook post on Thursday.
Subrahmanyam Jaishankar was appointed as the Minister of External Affairs of the Government of India on 31 May 2019. Earlier, he has served Indian government as Foreign Secretary. In 1977, he joined the Indian Foreign Service and served in India and abroad in different capacities.
