Twitter has taken swift action on many Indian accounts. The company has suspended about 50 thousand Twitter accounts. These were all Indian accounts. After becoming the owner of Elon Musk, the company has banned about 2000 accounts for spreading terrorism. Elon Musk has become the new owner of micro-blogging site Twitter. Now many changes are being made on this.

Like every month, this time too the company has released its monthly report in India. It has been told that 52,141 accounts have been banned in the country. These accounts were closed between August 26 and September 25. These accounts were banned for promoting child sexual abuse, non-consensual nudity, and related content. After the arrival of Elon Musk, Twitter banned 1982 accounts for spreading terrorism.

Twitter has stated in its monthly compliance report that it had received 157 complaints from Indian users. The company said that action was taken on 129 URLs from these complaints received under the Grievance mechanism. These reports are issued under the new IT Rule 2021.

Twitter reported that they met 43 Grievances to process. These Twitter accounts are demanding suspension. The company has told that all these have been resolved. Apart from this, necessary responses were sent to the users. 

Let us tell you that due to this rule on WhatsApp also suspends millions of accounts in India every month. According to IT Rule 2021, it is necessary to have Grievance Officer for big tech platforms.

The deal between Musk and Twitter is complete. Now the owner of Twitter has become Elon Musk. Musk is looking for new ways to earn money from this. According to the new report, the user may have to spend up to Rs 700 for a blue tick on Twitter.
