EDFAIR 2022 on 8th October at DPS, Greater Faridabad

Euphoria Career Guidance(A unit by Raising Brands), organized a Career fair ”EDFAIR 2022” in association with Delhi Public School, Sector 81, Greater Faridabad on 8th October from 9:30am onwards. 500+ students of grade 10th, 11th & 12th and their parents attended the fair and interacted with Experts from Top Universities India/Abroad.

The Event host & Guest Speaker, Ms. Roohi Dhingra is certified and experienced career coach & Analyst. She delivered the motivation talk and encouraged the audience to design their careers. She said, today with expert career coaches & mentors, when we can get the entire hand holding and be well informed to take wise decisions, then why not we make our Careers by choice instead of by chance”. She guided students about various emerging career options for them and how they can utilize their time to build a stronger profile, what all scholarships & Financial Aids options are available and much more. The event also included a discussion on how the students can get into their choicest career option and the best of universities. Students & Parents FAQs were also addressed so as to bring them to ease in these difficult times and to help the students achieve their desired aspirations of making it to their dreams together along with university representatives.

Pro Vice Chairman Mr. Rohit Janendra Jain, Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad witnessed the fair, visited every stall, met their representatives and showed interest to learn about new age programs and what all options are available before students today. He appreciated the initiative and encouraged the school team to engage in more such activities, to be updated and support their students to design their careers with the best support possible.

The fair witnessed various universities from pan India/Abroad viz. Grenoble (GEM), SJSM, UBS, ISBF, ISH, UID, Pearl Academy, UPES University, NIIT University, Bennet University, Alliance University, G D Goenka University, Woxsen University and others. Over 500+ parents and students from DPS as well as other schools in the vicinity viz. Manaskriti School, Aravali International School, The Mordern School and others visited the fair and appreciated the initiative. They met and interacted with various university representatives and got to learn about various options available for their higher education. They also got to know about the eligibility criteria, Application deadlines, Scholarships and much more.

Simultaneously, there was an Expert talk given by Internationally Awarded Ms. Roohi Dhingra, a renowned Certified Career Coach & Analyst. She talked about how to select the best fit program, country selection, and role of profile building, various scholarship options and much more. 

The main focus and objective of this fair was to support, educate and make the students and their parents aware on how to shape their child’s career in a right manner. 

Highlights

1. Mr. Shantanu Mukherjee, NIIT University– It was a pleasure to interact with parents today. Best was, they were keen to learn and explore. I think, we all representatives tried our best to educate them with maximum career options available today.

2. 2. Roohi Dhingra (Career Coach) – Guest Speaker –talked about how student should build a strong profile to crack not only admissions with top universities with India & Abroad but also avail scholarships and discussed about role of profile building, Talked about various internships, Research, fellowships, short term programs and much more that students can pursue during their high school. She motivated students to look up for their best-fit course & universities she encouraged students to just follow their passion.

3. Amrit Jaggi – (UPES University & Pearl Academy) gave an eye opener to students about what all possible programs are available under Design, Engineering, MEDIA & Entertainment industry.

Mrs. Sujeet Khanna, Principal-DPS, gave a thank you note to all university representatives, honored Ms. Roohi Dhingra with a beautiful plant, appreciated and thanked the whole team for their efforts. She said, “We are looking forward to more of such engagements.”

Manya, Khanak, Shreya and many other students got their doubts clear and really appreciated the experts for the valuable knowledge they shared. They said, “we look forward to more such sessions”.

The agenda of the event to guide the students by making them more informed and aware was successfully fulfilled.
