A high security alert has been issued in the national capital after UP Police received information about the terrorist attack.

On Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh Police have received inputs of possible terror attacks in New Delhi. A high security alert has been issued in the national capital after the information.  As per  the information, after the Uttar Pradesh Police received an email of the terrorist attack in the capital Delhi, the UP Police informed the Delhi Police about it. 

Following the information, the Delhi Police acted on the input by increasing the security arrangements. On Tuesday, a search operation was conducted in Sarojini Nagar market area in New Delhi and as a security measure the market got closed. Police told business organizations that, due to some security threats, Delhi Police has received orders to close the markets and keep a strict vigil. 


Precautionary search in Sarojini Market 

Delhi Police has refused to issue any order to close the market. In this regard, Delhi Police says that, we did not go to close the market, but did a precautionary search. "We went there to conduct preventive search not to close down the market," said Delhi Police officials. 

The E-mail 

Delhi Police is now trying to trace the sender of the email and is also probing the claim made by him in the email. According to media reports, the interrogation of terrorists arrested in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday revealed that there is a possibility of terrorist attacks in 9 states of the country. 

According to Delhi Police Special cell officer, the email was reportedly sent by a terrorist organization Tehrik-e-Taliban (India cell), the officer said.
