On Friday, fire broke out in the basement of CBI Building (CGO Complex) on Lodhi Road in the capital Delhi. The fire brigade and police team have reached the spot quickly. All the employees and officers present inside the building have been evacuated safely without any casualties.

According to the information, at around 1.30 pm on Friday afternoon, people witnessed smoke coming out of the basement of the building, till the time people could understand something, flames started blazing off from there. In view of the seriousness of the matter, 8 fire tenders have rushed to the spot. Simultaneously, the work of extinguishing the fire is going on. According to police officials, no casualties were reported in the incident. A team is trying to find out the cause of the fire.
