Covid-19 : Is second wave weakening?
In the last 24 hours India has recorded 1,33,048 people with Covid-19 positivity.

In the last 24 hours, the corona report of 1,33,048 people across the country has come positive and 3,204 people died due to infection. 2,31,277 people have been cured from the infection. In Maharashtra, the maximum number of recovered cases has reached to 35,949 on Tuesday. 31,683 people were cured in Tamil Nadu, 29,271 in Karnataka and 24,117 in Kerala.
According to the Ministry of Health, so far 2.83 crore cases of corona have been reported in the country. 3.35 lakh people have died due to this virus. 2.41 crore people have been cured of this virus. At present, 17.89 lakh people are active patients of Corona.
Declining positivity rate
According to the data of last 22 days, the infection rate has come down from 24.8 percent on Tuesday to 6.6 percent. Moreover, the number of new infections and deaths is also decreasing continuously. The number of people recovering is increasing, due to which the number of active patients is decreasing. According to the World Health Organization, if the infection rate falls below five percent, it is considered largely controlled. In such a situation, the situation is likely to come under control in the next few days.
The corona positive report of 3,58,179 people in the world has come in the last 24 hours. 7,869 people have died due to corona infection. More than 17.14 crore people have been infected with the corona virus in the world. Out of these, more than 35.64 lakh people have died. 15.39 crore people have defeated Corona. At present, 1.41 crore people are under treatment.
