Covid Updates: India Logs 10,649 Fresh Cases
The daily positivity rate and the weekly positivity rate currently stand at 2.62 percent and 3.32 percent respectively, said the ministry.
On Wednesday, India reported 10,649 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 36 fresh fatalities and 10,677 people recovering from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry.
With this, the overall tally of Covid-19 cases in the country has climbed to 4,43,68,195, and the death toll has reached 5,27,452, said the ministry.
Comprising 0.22 percent of the total infections, the active caseload stands at 96,442, said the data. With the recovery rate standing at 98.59 percent, the total tally of recoveries in the country has climbed to 4,37,44,301 including 10,667 recoveries being recorded in the last 24 hours, said the data.

Maharashtra
On Tuesday, Maharashtra's Thane district reported 366 fresh Covid-19 cases, pushing the overall tally to 7,39,400. With one fresh fatality in the last 24 hours, the death toll has climbed to 11,939, as per the State health department.
Delhi
On Tuesday, the national capital logged 959 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 9 fresh fatalities, as per the city's health bulletin.
