Shraddha further writes that I apologize for the trouble caused by me and the loss of work. Earlier, another chat and photo of Shraddha came to the fore. This chat is between Shraddha and her friends in Mumbai. The chat took place on 23 November 2020 i.e. during the time when Aftab assaulted Shraddha.

In this regard, Shraddha's friend Goodwin told Aaj Tak that after the assault, they took her to the hospital and the police station as well. Aftab was constantly calling her and saying that if you do not come back, I will commit suicide. Means he was blackmailing Shraddha.

During the investigation, it has also come to light that while taking a flat on rent in Mumbai, Aftab and Shraddha had got a rent agreement made by claiming themselves as husband and wife.
