Bawankhedi murder case: petition filed in NHRC to save convict Shabnam.
Social activist Danish Khan, who has demanded the hanging of Shabnam, convicted for the Bawankhedi murder case of Amroha, is now trying to save him. In this sequence, he filed a petition in the National Human Rights Commission, which has been rejected.

In Bawan Kheri Murder Case of Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district, Shabnam has been convicted and sentenced to be hanged. The case has taken a new twist. Social activist Danish Khan, who sought to bring Shabnam to the gallows, has approached the Human Rights Commission to waive the death sentence of Bawan Khedi village villain Shabnam. The petition has been dismissed by the commission within 24 hours after the filing.
Village villain Shabnam, 2 murderers, 7 murders
On 14/15 April 2008, Shabnam, along with her lover Salim, murdered 7 people, including her parents, nephew, sister-in-law, brother, with an axe. Then to avoid the crime of murder, the story was composed in film style. In just 4 days, the police had exposed this entire pole.
Danish’s mind change
Hanging has been requested by Danish Khan, a resident of Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh, a social activist as well as an RTI activist. After which the enthusiasts about his execution were intensified and the media's focus was completely on the jail in Rampur. But due to legal stalking, the date of his execution was postponed.
In Rampur Jail, Shabnam’s son came to meet her in the jail. He pleaded with media to not hang his mother and it has changed Danish’s mind. On 21 February, Danish has sent a written report to National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and it was filed on 20 May by the commission.
