An old man in Mumbai killed his live partner and chopped her body into pieces.

 56 year-old man has been arrested for murdering his live partner and chopping her body into pieces at his rented flat in Mumbai's Mira Road. The police reported that the man chopped the body of his partner with a tree cutter and also boiled her body parts in a cooker.The accused, recognised as Manoj Sahani, had been living with Saraswati Vaidya, 36, in flat 704 at Geeta Akash Deep building in Geeta Nagar Phase 7 since three years. On Wednesday evening the Police were called by the local residents of the building and complained of a bad smell emitting from the couple's flat. Manoj has a small shop in Boriwali.

Shocking Murder and Dismemberment in Mumbai

 By seeing he decomposing body parts  of the victim found in his house the police suspected that the murder could have occurred three-four days ago. An investigation team hurried to the spot and found the decomposed body  parts of the woman, cut into several pieces.

The Arrest of the Accused and Discovery of the Crime Scene

Manoj Sahani and Saraswati Vaidya were in a live-in relationship and were staying  in the Geeta Akash Deep building for past three years. The couple had a fight over some issue. As a result the woman was murdered brutally by her partner. Her body was cut into pieces with a cutter."

When we reached the house and opened the door, we understood it was a case of murder and the suspect tried to hide the evidence, "Jayant Bajbale, deputy commissioner of police told India Today.

Investigation into the Motive for the Murder

But the real motive behind this brutal criminal act of murder is still unknown. Police are investigating to find out the real cause of this murder.The Police have arrested two suspects and the man is being asked questions about the murder. Let’s hope the real cause of this brutal murder be soon revealed and the criminal receives the right punishment  that he deserves.
