Ali Baba fame Tunisha Sharma passed away by suicide on December 24

Ali Baba fame Tunisha Sharma passed away by suicide. Tunisha played the role of Shehzaadi Mariam in Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul. She was found dead on December 24 on the sets of the show at Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district. 

Police officials informed that the 20 year old actress was found hanging in the bathroom. The cremation ceremony of the actress was held at 4 pm of December 25. The post-mortem was conducted at JJ Hospital of Mumbai early on Sunday morning and her body was handed to her family at 11 am. 4-5 doctors were present during the autopsy. Various injury marks were found on her body and according to the report she “died due to asphyxiation.”

Tunisha’s mother has filed a complaint against Ali Baba Dastaan-e-Kabul co-actor and boyfriend of Tunisha, Sheezan Khan. Both of the co-actors are said to be in relationship that led to a break up 15 days ago. The actress was under deep stress since then that led to her to take such tragic step. Sheezan has been arrested now.

A senior police official mentioned on Saturday, "There is a Ramdev Studio in Naigaon where the shoot was on. Then there was a break between the shots when this actress went to the bathroom and then she hung herself there. People on the sets rushed her to the hospital where she was declared 'brought dead'. It is primary information. Our team is on the spot and they are investigating. We will take everyone's statement."

DCP Chandrakant Jadhav spoke to the media and informed about the reports of the late actress’s pregnancy and said “There is no report on this”. The cops are questioning all those who were present on the sets on Saturday. As the actress had not left any suicide note the police will conduct the investigation from both murder and suicide angles.
