Accused Sahil in the Sakshi murder case has been sent to judicial custody

Sahil Khan who brutally murdered 16 year old Sakshi in Delhi has been sent to judicial custody. He was caught on CCTV as he stabbed her several times in Rohini’s Shahbad dairy area.

The Delhi police has filed a case against him under the SC/ST Act and action will be taken at the earliest. 

Sakshi was stabbed 20 times and bludgeoned to death with a cement slab on May 28th. A day later Sahil was arrested by the police in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshar. Sahil and the victim were allegedly in a relationship and they had an argument a day before the murder.

Police stated that they have recovered the knife that was used for the murder as Sahil had allegedly thrown it after the crime in the bushes at Rithala. On Thursday Delhi’s Rohini court extended police custody of Sahil for next 3 days.

The police registered a FIR in the matter under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) at Shahbad Dairy Police Station.
