A Delhi based school teacher convicted for attempt to murder after she pushed a student from the first floor
A serious incident has come to light that a female teacher named Gita Deshwal who is a teacher in the Delhi Nagar Nigam Prathmik Vidyalaya.

A serious incident has come to light that a female teacher named Gita Deshwal who is a teacher in the Delhi Nagar Nigam Prathmik Vidyalaya, a government school in Delhi has been found guilty of attacking a student of 5th standard named Vandana. She is been charged with attempt to murder as she injured the girl, first by beating her with a pair of scissors used in craft and then pushing her from the first floor of the building.
The incident took place at around 11.15 AM, she has previously been found to be aggressive with students as well. During the incident another teacher named Riya had tried to stop Gita from hurting the girl but she had already flung her from the first floor. One of the residents rushed the girl to Bara Hindu Rao hospital where after performing a number tests it was declared that Vandana is out of danger but has suffered injuries.
The teacher has been suspended by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and will face severe charges as said by senior police officer Shweta Chauhan.
This incident has enraged parents of other students as well and are demanding for protection of their respective wards.
It has been found during investigation that the child’s classroom was disheveled and students had rushed out of the room in fear of their teacher. One of the guardian alleged that the headmaster has not yet made any statement over the heinous incident.
This case has definitely put a number of doubts in the minds of student’s parents who place their trust on the school for keeping their children safe but now the incident has definitely harmed the school’s reputation as well as security of students.
