On Wednesday,Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has announced to order a magisterial inquiry into the death case of a 9 year old dalit girl who was allegedly assaulted sexually. Moreover, a compensation of Rs 10 lakh is also announced by him for the family of the victim. 

"Our girl cannot come back. The injustice done to the family is unfortunate and cannot be compensated, but the government will give Rs 10 lakh to them and order a a magisterial inquiry into the matter," he told reporters of TOI, after meeting the victim's family. "There is a need to strengthen law and order in Delhi. I appeal to the central government to take firm steps in this direction," he added.

The parents of the victim are protesting for the justice at the place where this incident happened. The incident took place in Old Nangal area of Southwest Delhi. As per parents, on Sunday around 5:30 pm the girl went out of their rented house to get cold water from a cooler at crematorium after informing the mother.

The crematorium's priest, Radhey Shyam, along with two-three people called the girl's mother and showed her electrocuted body of the girl. As reported by police, the burn marks were there between her left wrist and elbow, her lips were also blue. 

On Monday, the Police said that based on the statement of the the victim's mother, rape charges have been added in the FIR. Four people, including the priest, have been arrested.
