Modi tweeted, "India scripts history. We are witnessing the triumph of Indian science, enterprise, and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians. Congrats India on crossing 100 crore vaccinations. Gratitude to our doctors, nurses, and all those who worked to achieve this feat."


After reaching the milestone, he paid a visit to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya as he engaged with hospital staff.


PM Modi has praised health personnel for driving the immunization campaign on numerous occasions. On Thursday, the total number of COVID-19 vaccine doses provided in the country crossed the 100-crore mark.
