A tragic incident occurred on Sunday during a fashion show in Noida's Film City, resulting in the loss of life of a 24-year-old model from New Delhi. The unfortunate mishap took place while the model was walking the ramp at Laxmi Studio. Another individual named Bobby Raj, who was present at the scene, also suffered severe injuries in the accident. Upon receiving the necessary medical attention, Bobby was promptly admitted to the hospital under the supervision of the police. The incident occurred at 1:30 pm on Sunday.
Organizers Charged with Negligence: Investigation and Postmortem Awaited
In response to the incident, the organizers have been charged with negligence, and a case has been registered against them. The postmortem reports for Vanshika, the deceased model, are currently pending. Shakti Awasthi, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Police of Noida, stated, "Vanshika Chopra lost her life as a result of a falling truss during the fashion show at the Film City studio. The examination of the body has been sent for postmortem, and further actions are being taken."
