The film depicts the plight of Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley in 1990, who were forced by the terrorists to flee from their homes. The true incident
The film starts from 1990 and reaches the current year. Delhi resident Krishna (Darshan Kumar) comes to Srinagar to fulfill the last wish of his grandfather Pushkar Nath Pandit (Anupam Kher). Unaware of Kashmir's past, he sets out to find out the truth about his family. Here he meets four of his grandfather's friends. Gradually, the discussion of exodus and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits starts between them and the story reaches till 1990.
