Amidst the joyous atmosphere at the Deol house in Mumbai, preparations are underway for the wedding of Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol, and Drisha Acharya, great-granddaughter of Bimal Roy. While glimpses of Bobby, Sunny, and Abhay Deol celebrating at Karan's pre-wedding festivities have already surfaced on social media, veteran actor Dharmendra has chosen to skip the pre-wedding functions.

Dharmendra's Reasoning: Allowing the Young Couple to Enjoy without Inhibition

Dharmendra will not be attending Karan and Drisha's wedding ceremony, offering his blessings to the couple. Explaining his decision, the Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahaani actor told ETimes, "Let the children have fun. If I am around, they are likely to feel restricted. I don't want them to miss out on any of the enjoyment."

According to Dharmendra, Karan first informed his mother (Sunny's wife, Pooja Deol), who then relayed the news to Sunny, who later informed him.

Meanwhile, a new video has emerged on social media featuring Sunny Deol dancing at his son's pre-wedding function. The video captures the Gadar star donning a black shirt and blue denim, grooving to the song "Morni Banke" from Ayushmann Khurrana's film Badhaai Ho.

Karan made his acting debut in his father's 2019 movie Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and later starred in the 2021 film Velle. The latter marked his first on-screen collaboration with his uncle, Abhay Deol. Alongside Mouni Roy and Anya Singh, the film was produced by Ajay Devgn and directed by debutante Deven Munjal. Karan's upcoming project is Apne 2, where he will be seen alongside Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol.
