On Sunday, the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer was leaked online. The online leak came as a surprise for fans. Some users have tweeted the video in their posts which have been taken down. "The media has been disabled in response to a report from the copyright owner," the message read. Spider–Man: No Way Home is set to release in theaters on December 17. 

Fans shared on social media their reaction to the trailer leak which flooded Twitter with memes. Some users shared about the trailer and others reacted to the firestorm the alleged leaker might face. 

Fans have shared multiple videos on YouTube and other platforms. All of them have been taken down with the message, "This video contains content from Sony Pictures Movie and Shows, who has blocked it on copyright grounds." 

The movie is starred by Tom Holland as Peter Parker. In the trailer, Peter Parker is seen dealing with the aftermath of his identity getting revealed to the world at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. He approaches Doctor Strange for the solution and it was suggested to him to mess with the multiverse. Spiralling through the worlds he meet characters from older movies such as Doctor Octopus, Electro and even Green Goblin.
