On Thursday evening, late Punjabi rapper and singer Sidhu Moosewala's first-ever song after his death titled 'SYL' has released on his official YouTube channel. The song has garnered more than fifteen million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours of its release. The popular singer has shot dead three weeks ago on May 29 in the Mansa district of Punjab.
The song SYL was composed, written, and sung by Sidhu himself. Just like his every other song, Sidhu draws the attention of the listeners and viewers toward various social issues.
SYL is an abbreviation for the Sutlej-Yamuna Link which discusses the rights of Punjab residents to the river's water. The song also talks about the Sikh prisoners who are imprisoned on the basis of false charges.
