Not just Bollywood stars but heartthrobs from TV also have a huge fan following abroad…

TV is a household medium and while it makes out TV actors popular amongst the Indian audience, international fame always falls in Bollywood’s share. But what if we tell you that this is not completely true, many of our TV stars are also popular overseas and while not in the mainstream market, but in popular tourist locations they have huge fan followings.
As we all know that since a few years, Indonesia has been a hotspot for TV stars, their shows are translated there in the local languages and that is what is making them a household name in Indonesia. In fact, people in the country are crazy about our Indian TV actors. Here are some of them who have a huge fan following outside India.
Shaheer Sheikh
The recently married Shaheer Sheikh is probably the biggest and most well-known Indian star in Indonesia. After the actor made many hearts skip a beat with his show Mahabharata in the country, Shaheer also went on to do a film in Indonesia and now he is also doing 2 shows in the country. His popularity in Indonesia is huge and the actor even owns a house in Jakarta and is in the country often.
Shivin Narang
Another charmer from TV Shivin Narang is quite popular in Indonesia. After his show Veera made waves in the country, he was roped on to do another popular show in Indonesia. In India, Shivin was last seen on the show Beyhadh 2.
Arjit Taneja
The Kumkum Bhagya actor is already famous for his good looks, but other than this his craft has also impressed the audience in the country. And now he is doing a show in Indonesia called Nadin which is the country’s version of Naagin. After Kumkum Bhagya’s success both Arjit and Mrunal have become very popular amongst the Indonesian audience.
Vin Rana
Kumkum Bhagya actor Vin Rana who hails from Indonesia is surely an eye-candy for the Indian audiences. But back home too he is a total charmer. And not only is he married to a girl from Indonesia, but has also done three shows in the country.
Shakti Arora
While actor Shakti Arora has probably been forgotten in the TV space in India, he makes hearts skip a beat in Indonesia. In fact, he is currently making the Indonesian audience go gaga over his performance in Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi.
While these actors are roped in by producers for shows and even meet and greet sessions, they have a bright future in the Indonesian markets. And unlike India, where Bollywood is the epitome of glamour, these actors are actually getting their worth in Indonesia. The people are so loving and warm, that they make good friends in the country and it is all new market for them in professional terms too.
