One of Colors TV’s biggest production on the small screen is the reality show Bigg Boss which is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. And while the show has had 13 successful seasons, makers are gearing up for the 14th one with great zeal. Lots of reports about BB14 have already started floating online, be it about the contestants or Salman Khan’s fees this season. And with a new update coming in every other day, here’s is all the information you need to know about Bigg Boss Season 14. 

Bigg Boss 14 contestants

While reports and rumours about the contestants keep buzzing till the show’s premiere, some names of that are said to be entering the house are actors Zain Imam, Shiving Narang, Pavitra Punia, Naina Singh, Nishant Malkani, Sugandha Mishra, Jasmin Bhasin, Alisha Panwar, Shireen Mirza and many more. While it is being said that the team is scouting for some masaaledaar contestants this season, some influencers and tiktokers are also said to be approached for the show. The latest names that have been said to join the list is Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasmah actress Disha Vakani, while there is no clarity about her giving a nod, the latest rumour is about controversial God woman Radhe Maa who is said to be entering the house. 

Salman Khan’s fees for Bigg Boss 14

Another piece of information that people eagerly wait for is to find out the fees that Salman Khan charges for a particular season. And while the makers have been offering whopping amounts to some contestants, they are sure to pay a hefty fee to the celebrated host. As per reports, this season the Bharat actor will be charging Rs 250 crores. Last year, Salman was said to be making 12-13 crore per episode. 

What’s new this season

While every year there is a quirky factor in the house, be it the house being divided into two or teams being made, however, this season the makers have planned to do something that has never been done in the history of Bigg Boss. As per the latest rumours, this edition the contestants will have an update of the outside world at regular intervals. Yes, they will be told what is going on outside the house and this might create an interesting stir in the house time and again. Another thing that is new in the house is keeping in mind the lockdown situation, contestants might be eliminated on the basis of maintaining hygiene too. 

Bigg Boss 14 Theme

While every year we see filmmaker Omung Kumar do a brilliant job in designing the house, this year playing upon the pandemic scenario, the house is said to be converted into a jungle. Now with this, it will be interesting to see how modern amenities are introduced in the house. Right from the teaser, it is said that Bigg Boss will give 2020 the apt answer, seeing the jungle set up will be interesting.  It is also being reported that two weeks prior to the show, contestants will be quarantined. 

Bigg Boss 14 dates

Last year the Bigg Boss set was shifted from Lonavala to Goregoan Filmcity, and this year too the house is designed there. As per the initial plans, Bigg Boss was supposed to go on air from September 5th, but due to the heavy rains in August, the set was badly damaged, after which the makers have pushed the show’s dates by a month. Now Bigg Boss 14 will premiere on October 4. With so many details and a growing buzz, viewers are all set to be glued to their TV sets for the promising new season. Stay tuned!
