We have often seen celebrities reach a point in their lives where there need some kind of companionship. And other than a pet, someone who can really bring joy to their lives is a child. However, in India not many are still open to the idea of surrogacy. Even though the concept has become common in Bollywood, many TV personalities choose to stir away with this.

In fact, they prefer to go in for an adoption. Many popular TV celebs have adopted children and not only have they given these kids a better life, but are living some joyful times with them. With the experience they have earned being parent on-screen we even see most of these celebs become doting parents in life. Let us take a look at all those TV celebs who went in for adoption…

Sunny Leone

Actress Sunny Leone who keeps juggling between films and TV, has not one but three lovely reasons to come back home. Yes, she is a mother of three, in 2018 she had twins through surrogacy, but before that in 2017 Sunny adopted an orphan girl from Latur who she named Nisha Kaur Webber. And the little girl seems to the apple of Sunny’s eye. 

Sakshi Tanwar

Popular actress Sakshi Tanwar is amongst the most celebrated TV stars and she also became a single parent by adopting a girl, who she named Dityaa. Being a single mother has not just changed Sakhshi, but her entire family’s life. 

Jay Bhanushali and Mahi Vij

One of TV’s cutest couples Jay Bhanushali and Mahi Vij welcomed their daughter Tara in 2019. But before that the couple had already adopted two children - a son and a daughter. The kids belong to their house help and the TV couple is taking care of the kids’ education and other basic needs. While the children stay with their original parents, they celebrate all special occasions with Jay and Mahi. 

Sameer Soni and Neelam Kothari 

Popular film and TV actors Sameer Soni and Neelam Kothari tied the knot in 2011 and in September 2013, they adopted daughter Aahna. 

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee

Another IT couple from TV Gurmeet and Debina have been married for long, and the couple adopted two daughters from Gurmeet’s hometown in Bihar. The couple met the two kids at a family wedding and instantly felt a connection. Pooja was an orphan who stayed with her uncle, while Lata’s father had passed away, knowing this, the celeb couple adopted the girls. 

Sandip Soparkarr

Choreographer Sandip Soparkarr adopted a son in 2007 and while he was a single dad for a while, he later got married to girlfriend Jesse Randhawa. 

Sushmita Sen

The popular Bollywood actress who recently ventured into web-space has been a single mother to two daughters who she adopted some years ago. And Sushmita has been giving both her daughters a wonderful life.
