Rakul Preet Singh to come up as a Condom-Tester in Chhatriwali

Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh will be seen on big screens in the upcoming film Chhatriwali. The movie will be featuring Rakul Preet Singh portraying the role of a condom tester. However, the project has created high curiosity among the audiences. Named as Chhatriwali, the social family entertainer starring Rakul in a fresh and different character, has recently gone on big screens in Lucknow. 

The project was announced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP through their Instagram handle. While sharing the first look of Rakul in Chhatriwali, RSVP wrote, "Bin mausam barsaat kabhi bhi ho sakti hai… Apni chhatri taiyaar rakhiye! Presenting the first look of @rakulpreet in #Chhatriwali." 

The plot of the movie revolves around an unemployed chemistry graduate girl living in Karnal who is desperate for a job. In need of job she opts to work as a condom tester, a secret which she has to hide from everyone around her. Chhatriwali is a quirky drama and another fresh high-concept film by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Chhatriwali is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar.

About the film, director Tejas Deoskar shares, "Our film is a social family entertainer, which aims at de-stigmatising the use of condoms and we are truly excited that the film has gone on floors. Rakul brings freshness to every role that she portrays and with a sensitive, thought-provoking subject like this, the audience will certainly enjoy a roller-coaster ride of comedy", reported Bollywood Hungama.   

To this, Rakul Preet Singh shares her excitement, “It’s quite an interesting and hatke subject and I am very thrilled about starting the journey of my character. It’s important to highlight some issues in a light-hearted way and that has got me pretty excited”, reported Bollywood Hungama.
