Not Rubina Dilaik, but Aly Goni draws the highest salary for Bigg Boss 14

Bigg Boss is one of the highest budget reality shows on Indian television. And not only because of the extravagant house, suitable to be home to some popular celebs or the whopping fees they pay to superstar Salman Khan for hosting the season, but they also spend a lot on the salaries of the contestants every year. 

In fact, as per reports, every year the total fees that Bigg Boss makers pay the contestants ranges from Rs 30-50 lakhs. And this expenditure is beyond the production cost of the show. While the channel and makers even make huge profits with the show’s format, this year, the salaries of the contestants are sure to raise your eyebrows. But before we disclose those figures, let us tell you that Salman Khan charges a fee of Rs 16 crore per episode as per several media reports. 

Amongst the contestants, Aly Goni is the highest paid, followed by Rubina Dilaik and Jasmin Bhasin…

Aly Goni

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Khatron Ke Khiladi fame Aly Goni who entered the house as a wild card contestant takes home the biggest paycheque on Bigg Boss 14. Going by media reports, the dashing actor charges a fee of Rs 16 lakhs per week for the show. 

Rubina Dilaik

Considering she is a leading name on TV for her show Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Rubina draws a salary of Rs 5 lakhs per week becoming the second-highest paid contestant. 

Jasmin Bhasin

Jasmin who is also a popular name on the small screen makes a whopping Rs 3 lakhs every week on the show. 

Eijaz Khan

Though he has been away from the limelight, his stardom still commands a decent price. According to reports, Eijaz makes Rs 1.8 lakhs on the show every week. \

Abhinav Shukla

Rubina Dilaik’s husband Abhinav Shukla’s salary is almost one-third of his wife. Yes, the actor earns Rs 1.5 lakh per week on the show, other than Abhinav, eliminated contestant Pavitra Punia also charged the same fee. 

Nikki Tamboli

Even though Nikki Tamboli is not that popular, she has made a place for herself on Bigg Boss 14 because of a unique personality. And going by reports, Nikki gets paid Rs 1.2 lakhs per week on the show. 

Rahul Vaidya

Singer Rahul Vaidya who is also one of the loved contestants in this season of Bigg Boss was the least paid until recently. Rahul makes Rs 1 lakh on the show per week. 

Sonali Phogat

The BJP leader who recently entered the Bigg Boss house is said to be drawing a salary of Rs 80 thousand every week on Bigg Boss. 

Well, let us tell you, Shehzad Deol was the least paid contestant on Bigg Boss. While he earned Rs 50000 per week, the second-lowest paid housemate was Jaan Kumar Sanu who was drawing Rs 80 thousand for a week. Nishant Singh Malkani and Sara Gurpal were paid Rs 2 lakhs per week on the show. 

Amongst the challengers, it is Vikas Gupta who gets the maximum. As per media reports, he charges Rs 90000 per week, while Rahul Mahajan gets Rs 75000. Reportedly, Rakhi Sawant gets paid Rs 65000 and Arshi Khan draws Rs 50000 a week on the show.
