Most-Awaited Web Series Panchayat 2 Releases Online, Surprises Fans
The most awaited sequel of popular web series "Panchayat" has released online. The show has released prior to its slated release date.
The sequel of most popular web series "Panchayat" has released two days prior to its slated date of release. On Monday, the OTT platform Amazon Originals announced to premiere the sequel on Prime Video on May 20. However, on Wednesday evening, May 18, the show has premiered on the OTT platform.
The comedy-drama series is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, featuring Jitendra Kumar in the lead role. Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav is also there in the star cast along with Jitendra Kumar. They featured in season 1 as well.

The first season of "Panchayat"
The first season of the series rolled out in 2020 and became an instant hit among the viewers. The script revolved around the life of Abhishek, an engineering graduate, Jitendra Kumar. Due to the lack of better opportunities, Abhishek took up the job as a Panchayat Secretary in Phulera, a remote village situated in Uttar Pradesh.

Panchayat 2 to feature Abhishek's journey
The sequel Panchayat 2 features the hilarious journey of Abhishek. After facing a lot of troubles Abhishek has now adjusted to the challenging life in Phulera village. The series shows a deeper equation between Abhishek, Pradhan, Vikas, Prahlad, and Manju Devi.
Actor Jitendra Kumar has also played the character of Jeetu Bhaiya in TVF's Kota Factory and Aman Tripathi in Shubh Mangal Jyada Saavdhan. He has also won the Filmfare OTT Award in the category of "Best Actor in Comedy Series" for his commendable performance in Amazon Originals' Panchayat.
