It is soon going to rain babies in showbiz. Some top actresses from Bollywood and Television, Anushka Sharma, Anita Hasanandani, and Kareena Kapoor Khan are all ready to deliver their babies. And while their doling out pregnancy goals, we can only imagine their joy of becoming parents. Well, having a child is probably the world’s most beautiful feeling and while many of our celebs have witnessed it, others also didn’t hold back from taking this experience.
Despite their marital status or the inability to have a child, many TV and Bollywood celebs made sure they don’t miss the experience of being a parent. Yes, they opted for surrogacy and now they are being doting parents…
What is surrogacy?
According to Wikipedia, Surrogacy is an arrangement binding with a legal agreement where a woman agrees to bare a child for another person who becomes the child’s parent after birth. It involves financial transactions too.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
Though Aamir Khan already has two children from his first wife, he had no kids with Kiran Rao. So, in 2011 they decided to go in for IVF surrogacy after Kiran had a miscarriage. And they now have a son Azad Rao Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan
In May 2013, Shah Rukh and Gauri welcomed their third child AbRam, he was born through surrogacy. SRK and Gauri were already parents to Aryan and Suhana before AbRam was born.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra
Already parents to the 7-year-old Viaan, Shilpa and Raj welcomed their daughter Samisha Shetty Kundra through surrogacy in February 2020.
Tusshar Kapoor
Not only did actor Tusshar Kapoor choose to be a single parent, he also turned to be a doting father to son Laksshya, who was born in 2016 through surrogacy.
Ekta Kapoor
Following brother Tusshar Kapoor’s footsteps, director and producer Ekta Kapoor also decided to opt for surrogacy and had a baby boy Ravie Kapoor, born on 27th January 2019.
Sunny Leone and Daniel Webber
Actress Sunny Leone also decided to embrace motherhood when she adopted daughter Nisha Kaur Webber. And in 2018, she and her husband Daniel Webber also welcomed their twins Asher and Noah Webber.
Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah
After getting married in 2013, comedian Krushna Abhishek and wife Kashmera Shah tried several times to become parents, and finally, in 2018, they opted for surrogacy and had twin boys Ryan and Krishank.

Filmmaker Karan Johar also opted for surrogacy in 2017 and became a single parent to twins. He has a lovely daughter named Roohie and a dashing son named Yash for who he lives now.

TV couple Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali also have a 4-month-old daughter who was born through surrogacy. Despite their differences, the two are being great parents to the little one.

Almost 11 years after their first son Nirvaan was born, Sohail and Seema Khan decided to opt for surrogacy to have their second child. And the couple was blessed with son Yohan in 2011.
