Dia Mirza, R Madhavan Reunite After 22 Years

RHTDM duos Dia Mirza and R Madhavan finally reunited during the IIFA 2023 event. Dia took to social media and shared an adorable photo congratulating Madhavan on his Best Director award win for Rocketry. Reminiscing the good days with the actor, and congratulating him on his big win at IIFA 2023, Dia penned, "Has it really been 22 years @actormaddy..congratulations on your award! Keep shining."

Twinning in black, while Dia opted for a white and black gown, Madhavan rocked the scene in his bandhgala suit. As their pic dropped online, "Please please make 'RHTDM 2'," a social media user commented. "Woww... it made me nostalgic. We want RHTDM 2," another one commented.

Earlier, Madhavan had addressed these growing rumours of a sequel coming soon. Taking to Twitter, he had written, " #RHTDM ..Guysss ...been reading rumors about the sequel .. and hoping it's true-cause I have no idea about this."

He even went on to joke how Dia and him had gotten older, compared to when the film had taken over the country. He wished that the script of the film be "age-appropriate" for them in case a sequel was a possibility. "Just praying that someone somewhere has an age-appropriate script for Dia and I -varna ab madhav shastri banna to hathi ko chaddi pehnane ke barabar hai," his tweet included.
