Comedian Raju Srivastava Suffers Heart Attack At Gym

Raju Srivastava was running on a Treadmill after which he has been taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

On Wednesday, August 10, famous comedian Raju Srivastava reportedly suffered from a cardiac arrest while working out at the gym in New Delhi. As per the reports, his team shared the information, "Raju sir suffered a mild heart attack while working out. He is admitted to AIIMS, but he is doing fine. He is conscious." 

Raju Srivastava was running on a Treadmill after which he has been taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Raju Srivastava has been taken to AIIMS 

According to AIIMS sources, Srivastava experienced heart failure while working out in the GYM and was brought to the medical clinic by his coach. CPR was provided to him two times to revive his heart. He has been restored and is right now at AIIMS under observation.

Srivastava's brother, Ashish Srivastava affirmed the news. He told India Today that Raju suffered from a coronary episode while working out at the gym. He was staying in Delhi to meet some of the famous leaders of Uttar Pradesh. Ashish said that Raju went to the gym in the morning and afterward went to another gym that day. During a similar time, he got cardiovascular failure.

Raju Srivastava's Career as a Comedian 

Raju Srivastava started his profession with appearances in Bollywood films including Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya among others. He wandered into stand-up satire with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and completed as second next in line. Then he participated in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge - Champions, in which he came out on top for the championship of "The King of Comedy".

The comedian has also been a part of Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala, Comedy Circus, and Comedy Nights with Kapil.
