CBI for SSR: Bollywood and TV actors welcome SC decision

While many of Sushant’s fans and friends eagerly awaited justice for the late actor, the Supreme Court passed the much-awaited order yesterday

Yesterday, when Supreme Court passed the judgment of having CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case many of his fans and friends rejoiced the decision. Sushant’s death that gave rise to a group of people called SSR warriors who strived for justice for the actor also welcomed the much-awaited decision. Ever since the actor was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, there have been a lot of speculations around his death. While many famous personalities from Bollywood also came under the scanner, it was Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who has been accused as a prime suspect behind the actor’s death. 

In fact, Sushant’s family has also filed an FIR against the actress with the Patna police and while the case was with ED, now the CBI will also come in to investigate the death of the Dil Bechara actor. Just a few days after Suschant’s suicide many actors like Kangana Ranaut, Ankita Lokhande and even Rhea Chakraborty had demanded CBI to intervene in the investigations that were being done by Mumbai police. In fact, Sushant’s sister had also been running a campaign about the same to bring justice to her brother. And yesterday, after this decision was passed many actors from Bollywood and TV fraternity welcomed the decision. Some names include Akshay Kumar, Ankita Lokhande, Gulshan Deviayah, Kangana Ranaut, Shashank Vyas, Shubhangi Atre, Kriti Sanon, Parineeti Chopra and many more.

Balika Vadhu fame TV actor Shashank Vyas said in a statement, “It was a much-needed step and though it’s just the first step towards justice, at least now we can expect an unbiased and fair investigation. I was always in favour of a CBI inquiry, but this goes to his fans, it’s their victory.” 

Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai actress Shubhangi Atre also commented on the decision, she said in a statement, “I am extremely happy that Supreme Court has ordered CBI inquiry. Now the truth will come out because many things were very suspicious and mysterious.  We should always raise our voice against any injustice. 

Even Sushant’s Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon lauded the CBI probe, she wrote on Twitter, “Last 2months have been extremely restless with everything being so blurry. Supreme Court’s order to let the CBI investigate Sushant’s case is a ray of hope that the truth will finally shine. Let’s all have faith, stop speculating & let the CBI do their work now!”

Sharing his view on the CBI probe, Sushant’s co-actor from Kis Desh Main Hai Mera Dil, Vishal Singh said, “I feel there is a lot of power in prayers. Prayers can turn wrong into right. So, I think we all should pray... I am happy that now CBI will solve the case.”

As per the latest updates, 3 teams of CBI will be reaching Mumbai today to start investigations on the case. So far there have been lots of speculations in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, many have even claimed that the late actor has been murdered, now with CBI coming in to investigate, we shall all come to know the truth soon.
