From Pavitra Punia to Arshi Khan, Bigg Boss contestants who kept their marriages a secret on the show

Bigg Boss has been one interesting show and with some many seasons there is definitely a lot of stories also that come from the show. But one phenomenon that Bigg Boss never seems to get along with the show is relationships, yes, we have seen them change drastically on the show and even outside. In fact, there have been many contestants whose marriages and engagements have broken due to the show, some of them are Paras Chabbra and Himanshi Khurrana from Bigg Boss 13. 

And while real life relationships are kept under wraps by some contestants on the show, we wonder why is it so. Recently, when Pavitra Punia also exited Bigg Boss stories about her being married started floating in the media. And while on the show we saw love blooming between her and Eijaz Khan, outside there is a different tale to tell. Here are 5 contestants who lied about their marriages on Bigg Boss…

Pavitra Punia

Kumkum Bhagya actress Pavitra Punia seemed a strong contestant on the show, but sadly she walked out of the house last week. While on the show we saw her falling in love with Eijaz Khan, she was even seen discussing about her broken engagement and exes, but we wonder why she refrained from talking about the man of her present. It was only after she got evicted that Pavitra’s husband came to the foreground expressing displeasure about her conduct in the house. Hotelier Sumit Maheshwari has said in an interview that the actress is still married to him and has cheated on him four times so far. 

Sara Gurpal

Bigg Boss 14’s first evicted contestant, Punjabi singer and actress Sara Gurpal also made headlines for her marriage. When she was on the show, Punjabi singer Tushar Kumar produced a marriage certificate with some proofs stating that he was married to Sara. The two had tied the knot in 2014, in Jalandhar. But Sara soon clarified that they have been separated for 5 years now and the it was an abusive relationship. 

Arhaan Khan

The biggest highlight on Bigg Boss 13 was the Arhaan Khan fiasco, on the show while we saw him taking his relationship to another level with actress Rashami Desai, Salman Khan called out his bluff during a Weekend ka Vaar episode leaving everyone shocked. Telling his truth to Rashami, Salman Khan revealed that Arhaan was already married and also had a kid outside. Rashami who was unaware of this brokedown and lot of equations changed in the house after that. 

Puneesh Sharma

Commoner Puneesh Sharma who was running a love affair with Bandagi Kalra had also hidden his marriage. Even though he had separated from his wife, he never spoke about it. In fact, he even lied about his age on the show and the reason for his marriage breaking was his playboy lifestyle. 

Arshi Khan

Bigg Boss 11’s controversial contestant Arshi Khan who claimed to be sexually involved with cricketer Shahid Afridi, told many lies while on the show. Not only did she fake her age and educational qualification, she even lied about her marital status. Not once, but twice reports came of Arshi being married, once it was with a 40-year-old man who was chosen by her family and another rumour was about her being married to a 50-year-old bookie from Bhopal.
