Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Trailer Releases with a Blend of Spookiness and Comedy

The most-awaited official trailer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been released today, April 26, 2022. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the movie stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in the lead roles. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios, the plot is written by Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on May 20, 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the sequel to Akshay Kumar's 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Vidya Balan in the lead role.
The movie trailer starts by introducing Tabu talking about Manjulika's return, "15 saal baad iss darwaze ne phir dastak di hai, iske pichhe koi sadhaaran atma nahi, kala jadu karne wali Manjulika hai." Kartik Aaryan comes in a comic avatar as he introduces himself as someone who can see dead people. As soon as he faces the ghost, i.e. Manjulika, there is fun, spookiness, suspense, and entertainment.

The new poster of the movie
Before the launch of the trailer, Kartik Aaryan took to his official Instagram handle and shared his picture praying in the temple. He captioned the pic as,
"All first steps must start with your blessings." He also shared a poster of the movie featuring the lead cast. To this, he wrote, "#RoohBaba and his family arriving today at 1 pm #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 Trailer in 3 hrs."
Sharing his thoughts about the movie, director Anees Bazmee said, "I have treated the subject in a new way. The original was a psychological thriller with comedy, this one is a proper horror-comedy. The challenge is to remind people of the first part, yet provide a unique experience", quoted as saying by Pinksvilla.
