Though many people have had mixed opinions and experiences about 2020, the year has had a big share of bad news for many. With the pandemic setting and the lockdown being imposed lots of things changed, while normal life came to stand still, work got compromised and lots of other norms like social distancing, sanitizations and masks became a major part of this Corona inflicted personal and professional life. And this phase has also been a bad one for Bollywood, especially, the deaths that happened this year. Bollywood lost lots of legends like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Saroj Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, and many more. But this year has also had a silver lining for some celebs who received good news during the pandemic. 

Lots of Bollywood and TV celebs have welcomed their bundle of joy this year, with Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli recently announcing the arrival of their little one, here are some other celebs who received the good news during the pandemic phase.

1) Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli

Just today, Anushka and Virat who fans fondly call #Virushka announced that they're expecting a child in January 2021. Not just this, but both Anushka and Virat shared the news on social media with an adorable picture where Anushka is seen flaunting her baby bump. While Virushka fans have received this good news after a series of bad news’ it’s surely a special one…

2) Kareena Kapoor Khan – Saif Ali Khan

Saif and Kareena who tied the knot in 2012, welcomed their first child Taimur Ali Khan in 2016. And while Taimur is 3-years-old now, just a few days ago, Saifeena announced their second child’s arrival. The actors issued a statement saying, “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. -- Saif and Kareena." When Taimur was born he became a sensation in the media and the paparazzi, now we will have to wait and watch if the new-born Khan will also face the kind of stardom brother Taimur did at this age. 

3) Hardik Pandya-Natasha Stankovic

Cricketer Hardik Pandya took the internet by storm when he shared pictures with fiancée Natasha Stankovic sporting a baby bump. While the two exchanged rings on January 1st this year, a few months later they shared the news of becoming parents and weeks after that, Hardik shared pictures with his baby boy Agastya around July end. 

4) Shikha Singh-Karan Shah

Kumkum Bhagya actress Shikha Singh and hubby Karan Shah also became parents during the lockdown. The two welcomed their baby girl on June 16 and have named her Alayna Singh Shah. 

5) Sumeet Vyas-Ekta Kaul

Veere Di Wedding actor Sumeet Vyas and wife Ekta Kaul also embraced parenthood during the pandemic. They welcomed their baby boy Ved on June 4. 

6) Dimpy Ganguly-Rohit Roy

Dimpy and Rohit who got married in 2015 welcomed their second child, baby boy Aryaan in April this year. The two also have a daughter. 

7) Smriti Khanna-Gautam Gupta

Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’s adorable couple Gautam and Smriti welcomed their baby girl Anayka on 15th April this year.
