In India, marriages call for big celebrations, thanks to our Bollywood films that have managed to establish the concept of Big Fat Indian Wedding for us. And while it is said to be the biggest day in someone’s life, we have seen everyone taking the plunge in a lavish way. Even most of our Indian celebs have gotten married with celebrations on a big scale, there have even been some who tied the knot secretly leaving many of us shocked. 

And it was not just in the yesteryears that Dharmendra secretly married Hema Malini or Sridevi took the plunge to Boney Kapoor in a secret ceremony. Generation after that also had actors who left fans surprised with their secret marriages. 

Neha Dhupia - Angad Bedi

In 2018, while Bollywood was busy with Sonam Kapoor’s wedding to Anand Ahuja, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi not only surprised fans but also industry folks with their wedding pictures. The two secretly got married in a Gurudwara on 10th May 2018. And a few months after the wedding they also announced that Neha was pregnant.   

John Abraham - Priya Runchal

Bollywood’s hunk John Abraham stole many hearts with his charming personality. In his initial days, he was dating actress Bipasha Basu, the two for in a very serious relationship for almost a decade, before they broke up. And after breaking up with Bipasha, John married Priya all of a sudden in 2014. Later when the actor broke this news everyone was left extremely shocked.

The two tied the knot at Italy’s Lake Como with close family and friends in the presence and the two kept fans eager to see their wedding pictures, which only dropped on the internet on the evening of December 2, 2018.
