On Friday, Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi has opened with an impressive Rs 10.50 crore collection. On Saturday and Sunday, the movie has managed to mint a box office collection of Rs 39.12 crore. As per Monday's box office collection, it is expected that Gangubai Kathiawadi is likely to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark in just five days.
The Box Office Collection
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared that Gangubai Kathiawadi's box office collection was Rs 8.19 crore on Monday, day 4, with this collection total box office collection has reached to Rs 47.31 crore.

As per his predictions, if the movie keeps collecting at the present pace, Gangubai Kathiawadi will be ending its first week's collection at the box office with Rs 64 crore. “(It) has a strong chance of hitting 100 cr, *IF* it maintains the momentum in *Week 2*," Taran added.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The film is receiving remarkable reviews. A review by News 18 says, “Bhatt practically disappears into the character of Gangubai Kathiawadi. There’s a hard-to-miss intensity in her eyes, and tenacity in her voice. She commands the screen with a fiery, arresting presence, never letting your attention wander away from her."
