UPSC Declares Result For Civil Services, Shruti Sharma Tops the Exam
The results for UPSC Civil Services 2021 are released. Girls have secured top 4 ranks.
On Monday, May 30, the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) released the results for the Civil Services exam 2021. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results by visiting the official website of the commission at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in. This year, girls have secured the top four ranks. Shruti Sharma has topped the exam followed by Ankita Agarwal, and Gamini Singla securing the second and third ranks respectively.

PM Modi congratulates the candidates
Congratulating the candidates who cleared the exam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his thoughts via his official Twitter handle. He wrote, "Congratulations to all those who have cleared the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021. My best wishes to these youngsters who are embarking on their administrative careers at an important time of India’s development journey, when we are marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav."

This year, a total of 10,93,984 candidates have applied for the exam, out of which 5,08,619 candidates have appeared for the exam. In the prelims exam, 9,214 candidates have qualified to appear for the Mains exam which was conducted in January 2022. In the Mains exam, 1,824 candidates qualified for the personality test of the exam.

- Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads, 'UPSC Civil Service final result 2021'.
- Now, the result will reflect on the computer's screen in PDF format.
- Download the PDF and take a printout of it for future reference.
