TNTET 2022: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board begins Application Process

The application process for Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2022 has started.

On Monday, March 14, Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TNTRB) has started the application process for Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2022. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Teachers Recruitment Board at www.trb.tn.nic.in. The last date for submission of the online application is April 13, 2022. 

As per the notice, "As per G.O (Ms) No.128, School Education (TRB) Department Dated 23.08.2021, TET Certificate will be valid for Life Time." 

Exam Date and Pattern 

The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board has not announced the exam dates for TNTET 2022 Paper I and II. The exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours which will include 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs). 

Age Limit and Application Fee 

Interested candidates should be at least 18 years old. However, there is no maximum age. 

The examination fee for all candidates except SC, SCA, ST, and Person with Disability is ₹500. However, the examination fee for SC, SCA, ST, and PWD candidates is ₹250. 

Steps to Apply 

Candidates should apply only through the TRB website www.trb.tn.nic.in in the online method. Separate applications should be used for Paper-I and Paper-II.

- Visit the official website of TNTRB at www.trb.tn.nic.in 

- Apply separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2. 

- Keep the scanned copies of recent passport size colored photograph and signature beforehand. 

- Upload the details in the application form along with required documents. 

- Submit the details, pay the fee and download the application form to be used for future reference.
