Social media policy clash still going on between Twitter and Government

Twitter and IT Rules
The hearing between Twitter and the Government is still going on in the High Court regarding the following of IT rules. However, all the other social media platforms like Facebook, Whatsapp, Kuo, Sharechat, Telegram etc have already complied with the new IT rules.
In the High court hearing, Twitter has been made answerable for non compliance of the IT rules till now. To which the head officials of Twitter told High Court that they have already implemented the new IT rules.
Twitter also said that "A local officer appointment has also been done from May 28. The officer will deal with local complaints." The centre has countered Twitter by saying "No, it is not so. Twitter has not implemented the new IT rules yet."
Advocate Amit Acharya filed the petition in the Delhi High Court on Friday, saying that "The Information Technology Act came into effect on February 25 and the centre had given three months to all the social media platforms including to abide by the rules."
