Petrol and diesel prices have raised for the third consecutive day. For the first time in the country, petrol has reached Rs 120 per litre and diesel is close to Rs 110 per litre. In Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, petrol has reached Rs 119.05 and diesel at Rs 109.88 per litre. On Friday, October 22, domestic oil companies have released new rates of petrol and diesel. Petrol prices have once again increased by 35 paise in Delhi, while diesel has also become costlier by 35 paise.
In Delhi, petrol is retailing at Rs 106.89 per litre and diesel is costing Rs 95.62 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 112.78 per litre while diesel is being sold at the rate of Rs 103.63 per liter.
However, as reported by Reuters, "crude oil prices fell on Friday in the international markets with Brent on track for its first weekly dip in seven weeks. This comes as demand for oil in power generation eased amid dipping coal and gas prices. A forecast of a mild winter in the United States also accounted for the change."

Petrol is retailing at Rs 115.54 per litre and Diesel is priced at Rs 104.89 per litre.
Lucknow
Petrol is costing Rs 103.86 per litre and Diesel is priced at Rs 96.07 per litre.
