NIOS to conduct Board Exams 2022 from Jan 4, Registrations from Dec 6
NIOS will be conducting the Board Exams 2022 from January 4. Registrations will start from December 6.
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will be conducting the on-demand examination for secondary (class 10) and senior secondary (class 12) classes from January 4. The exams will be held at NIOS headquarters and specific Kendriya Vidyalayas. Students appearing for the examination have to register themselves online at nios.ac.in and sdmis.nios.ac.in from December 6.
The NIOS has shared the info via tweet. The tweet reads, "The NIOS On Demand Examination, 2022 for Secondary and Sr. Secondary courses will be conducted from 4th January, 2022 onwards. The ODE Registration and fee submission for the same will be available on NIOS website http://nios.ac.in & http://sdmis.nios.ac.in from 6.12.2021."
The last date to register for the examination without a late fee is set to be January 31, 2022. Students will be able to complete the registration process by March 15 with a late fee.

Date of Examination - January 4, 2022, onwards
- At NIOS HQ, Noida, four days a week - Tuesday to Friday.
- At Kendriya Vidyalaya, three days in a week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Steps to apply for Registration
- Visit the NIOS’ official portal, nios.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘Application Submission Link’ available on the screen.
- Fill in the required information.
- Submit the application after verifying information.
- Deposit the application fees.
- Save a receipt of the application fees and download a copy.
The Exam fee
After completing the exam registration process between February 1 and 15, students will have to deposit a late fee of Rs 200. Registration from February 16 to 28 will charge a late fee of Rs 400. Students applying between March 1 and 15 will have to deposit a late fee of Rs 700.
