Maggi, Tea, Coffee and other Products get Costlier, Nestle raises Prices

Common man has to pay more for the daily use and mostly loved items like Maggi amid rising inflation. Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and Nestle have increased the prices of daily use items.

Common man has to pay more for the daily use and mostly loved items like Maggi amid rising inflation. Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and Nestle have increased the prices of tea, coffee, milk and noodles. As per the reports, HUL has increased the prices of brew coffee by 3-7%. Simultaneously, the prices of Bru Gold coffee jars have also increased by 3-4 percent. Instant Coffee Pouch prices have increased from 3% to 6.66%. 

Maggi prices increased by 9 to 16 percent

Recently, Nestle India announced that the prices of Maggi has increased by 9 to 16%. The company has also increased the prices of milk and coffee powder. After the current increase, instead of Rs 12 for a packet of 70 grams of Maggi, Rs 14 will have to be paid by the consumer. At the same time, the price of 140 grams of Maggi Masala Noodles has been increased by Rs 3 i.e. 12.5%. For a pack of 560 grams of Maggi, instead of Rs 96 the consumers will have to pay Rs 105, its price has increased by 9.4%. 

HUL also raises the rates 

According to CNBC TV-18, HUL has raised the rates of Bru coffee powder by 3 to 7 per cent on March 14. However, Bru gold coffee jars will cost more by three-four percent and the rates of Bru instant coffee pouches are raised by 3 to 6.66 per cent. Meanwhile, the price of Taj Mahal tea has also been raised from 3.7 to 5.8 per cent.

The prices of different variants of Brooke Bond have also been made costlier by 1.5 to 14 per cent. While making the announcement to increase the prices of daily use products, HUL said that it is making its products expensive due to rising inflation, reported News 18.
