Google invites Applications for Google India Girl Hackathon 2022

Google India has invited application from Women Coders to participate in the India Girl Hackathon and win Prizes. In order to participate in the hackathon, students must have enrolled themselves in the courses of computer and allied subjects. The application window will remain open till March 9. As per the schedule, the Hackathon is set to be conducted on several dates from March 19 to April 30. Interested students can apply for the Hackathon online through www.buildyourfuture.withgoogle.com. 

To make the announcement of the opening, Google India took to its Twitter handle and wrote, "Calling women coders of tomorrow ????‍????????‍????????‍????#CrackTheCode and participate in our Girl Hackathon to win cash prizes, an interview with Google and cool merch. Women students of computer science and allied courses can register in teams of 3 at: https://goo.gle/GirlHackathon." 

Awards to Winners 

Students who will be winning the Hackathon will be entitled to win a cash prize along with a chance to appear for the job interview at Google. 

Stages of Hackathon 

The hackathon will be conducted online in three stages. 

- Google Online Challenge - This will be the first round of the hackathon which will take place on March 19 for 60 minutes and for this every team member will have to ensure the participation. 

- Design Document Round - This will be the second round for the participants who will successfully clear the first round. Same theme will be allotted to all the participating groups in which their innovation solutions will be assessed. 

- Virtual Hackathon Round - In the final round participants will have to present their final solutions to the judges on April 27.
